The owner Bill is very pleasant and very attentive to the motel and it's a really cute place with a great rate!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The new owner likes to place blame on others and discriminates against people with disabilities. When I tried to call the number listed on the website there was no answer after trying to call several times. There has also been a report of bed bugs.when I spoke to the owner about the bed bugs he refused to fumigate or take care of the bed bug problem. The previous owner did nothing about it and now it has spread to other units.
Special thanks to the new owners of the Timber Lodge Motel, in Atlanta Michigan. Our family’s vacation was absolutely perfect from the nice welcoming atmosphere upon our arrival that continued throughout our stay. The cabin is irresistibly adorable and the rooms are beautifully remodeled with reflections of yesterday days gone by. To our surprise there was free internet/Wi-Fi and everyone in our party had cell phones coverage, one of the nice changes from our past visits to Atlanta. The establishment had bottles of water as part of the amenities for their guest. Having new beds/mattress was refreshing. We enjoyed sitting the river in the evening around the bonfire, cooking smores and enjoying family. During the day the children spent their energy playing outdoors while the adults enjoyed sitting under the shade trees on the patio furniture. Vacation ended too soon.
